Students within Poplar Education Centre follow a programme of study that is either set by their school or after an initial baseline assessment by the Science Lead. The programme of study is linked to the assessed investigative element of the exams set by the exam board.
This is an enquiry orientated format which can be grade set, and the pupils use ICT to develop knowledge and provide the necessary information to help complete the task. Additional paper resources are provided to assist and guide the pupils through the task.
