COOKING

Each week, some of the young people take part in cooking sessions where they learn about budgeting, healthy eating, following recipes and food hygiene. During these sessions they cook a range of foods including meals, snacks and cakes. Recently, as part of a bake sale to raise money for the Guide Dogs charity, they baked some cakes to sell. They made a rhubarb and custard cake and a caramel latte cake - both sold out!

STEM

We had a great presentation in Science which started with Biology and working on bone structure and moved to Marine Biology. We talked about plastic pollution and global warming. We then made our diver which brought in pressure and density, floating and buoyance aids. A great session.
